lonely planet, australia May 24, 2010 franco (enniskillen) very useful book, full of good advice and helpful ideas, a must for taking on Australia.
Best place to purchase books April 13, 2010 A. R. Shaw Great book, lonely planet books always so informative and at the prices you can get them on amazon well worth it.
great book for preparing your trip to Australia April 6, 2010 J. De Visser (enkhuizen, holland) I have not yet been to Australia yet, but I am preparing to go there this summer (that is in Europe, winter in Australia). I love reading in this book, it gives a lot of information and is alos fun to read. I'll give more review commentary once I have returned.
fantastic book March 19, 2010 J. Roadnight (UK) no stone is unturned throughout this book. History, area's of interest, maps for places. Recommendations of places to stay this is truly a brilliant book. The ability to include a bit of everything to allow the reader to pick what they visit and where they go. Fantastic.
Best guide for travellers February 28, 2010 Gingergothpod 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I'm a big fan of Lonely Planet guidebooks, and this one made my travelling round Australia enjoyable and easy. It's always hard when you get one book to cover the whole country, as inevitably you wont get the detail you get from regional or city guides, but if you only want to carry one book round with you that's the price you pay. And really, you get plenty good enough detail from this to set you on the right path and plan your routes. With the usual maps, descriptions, highlights, etc. you'll find all you need in this for what's probably going to be the trip of a lifetime round this gorgeous country.
