Bought this as a present for my 12 year old daughter who had fallen in love with an antique nautical telescope (which was wildly expensive and didn't work!) after seeing the Pirates of the Caribbean. Saw this on Amazon and, for the money, it is excellent. Nicely made, compact and with the right level of piratical authenticity, it really does work and it now comes with us on our regular walks in the hills.

This is a very soild brass spotting telescope. Ideal for carring in your pocket. And usful for spotting aninal life at a distants on those walks through park land areas.
